HEAD COACHES / ASSISTANT COACHES
"One coach will impact more young people in a season than the average person in a lifetime."

We couldn't run this league without the passion and energy of our coaches. We need coaches for all divisions,
for both baseball and softball. We know that your "day job" might come with some restrictions, but we have
found those hurdles can be overcome by having more than one coach per team. We will provide training,
a coaches manual, and a support network of other coaches.

What would a game be without umpires? We need teens to umpire AAA baseball and adults to umpire Majors
baseball and Majors softball. You just need to know the rules of the game, we have all the gear!




SNACK SHACK

We can promise you, this will be the most fun you've ever had flipping burgers! Let's face it, most families
don't have time to make dinner before heading to the field....and even if they did, they'd rather grab dinner
at "the Shack". We will train you on how to open, close and run the Shack. We've included some helpful links
below....it's really that simple!

If we don't have two volunteers per night, then we can't open. Did we mention all proceeds go directly back
into the programs we offer?

ALREADY REGISTERED A PLAYER  AND WANT TO NOW SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

Login at www.champlainvalleylittleleague.org using the same username/password you set up during the player registration process.  At the homepage, click on “Volunteer” (menu on the left).   It will show you the available options for the division in which you registered your player(s) in.  Click on whichever position you would like to volunteer for and hit continue.  On the next screen it will ask you who you’d like to sign up for that position.  Select the person and hit continue.  It will then take you to the section that needs to be completed in order to run a background check. 

VOLUNTEER ONLY – NOT REGISTERING A PLAYER

We still need you to create an account at www.champlainvalleylittleleague.org.  

After the first step where you fill in your information, the below screen will pop up.

Select  “I am a coach or other team personnel” and bypass registering a participant (player).  It then allows you to select the program (ie. Baseball, Softball, Babe Ruth) then hit “Available positions”.  From there you can choose the division and sign up for whatever you’d like to do within that division.  

Special note – if you volunteer for more than one option, you will have to enter you DL and SSN number multiple times due to the security system.
